Why This Project Matters

This project is absolutely essential for the future of Project Hessdalen.

Everything we do—depends on a stable financial foundation.

We are a non-profit organization with no government funding. That means our ability to investigate one of the world’s most fascinating scientific mysteries is directly tied to the support we can generate ourselves.

To sustain and grow the project, we urgently need help in three areas:

1. Writing Funding Applications

We need volunteers who can help write clear, structured applications for grants, research funds, and innovation programs—both in Norway and internationally.

2. Finding the Right Organizations to Contact

A big part of this work is identifying who to apply to:
• public funding bodies
• scientific foundations
• private sponsors
• companies with interest in technology, research, space, or science communication

3. Building Partnerships and Sponsorships

We also need help reaching out to companies that may want:
• to support our research
• sponsor sensors or equipment
• donate services
• buy web ads
• collaborate on merchandise (cups, shirts, calendars, etc.)

But we need people to help make it happen.
