Camera System
In 2024 I installed two new cameras on the mast of the Blue Box to observe the sky. The cameras are recoding 24/7 in 4k resolution. All video files are "stacked" into images to detect possible anomalies. An explanation of the process and many examples of stacked videos can be found here:
Dataloggers
Also in 2024 we distributed 30 data loggers to record the magnetic field in Hessdalen. Many witnesses report magnetic disturbances like compass offsets or drone problems. The grid of loggers recorded data for one week and was then retreived. Some loggers are still in operation at selected locations were anomalies have been reported.
During the Field Trip in September 2025 I was a tour guide, one of the speakers during our "Pizza and Perspective" Lightning Talk event and I was the one explaining what is in the Blue Box now.
